Certified Professional Pet Stylist Challenge

In the case of our professional groomers who have been in the grooming industry for at least three years and would prefer to challenge our course to secure their professional pet stylist certification, we offer a one day program every twelve weeks. Prior to coming to the program on challenge day, the groomer would need to provide at least five references going back at least three years in the industry, complete four written exams, and present a personal business plan based on their personal goals in grooming. On challenge day, the groomer would need to bring in four dogs from specific breed categories that are already washed, dried, and having had at least six weeks of grow out. The groomer will have eight hours to complete the specific groom for each dog and each dog will be evaluated by the instructor upon completion. Should the groomer meet all of these requirements with at least a 70% grade on all exams, they will be presented with a professional pet stylist certification.
